By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Grip is a web-based personal finance management tool that allows users to track income, expenses, account balances, recurring payables, and budget goals. The Service is accessed through a web browser and is designed for personal and household use. Grip is not a banking service, financial advisor, or regulated financial institution.
To use Grip, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
Grip offers both a free plan and a paid subscription plan ("Founding Member"). By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. If you are unsatisfied with the Service within 7 days of your first payment, contact us at support@bastech.app for a full refund. After 7 days, subscription fees are non-refundable. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods or unused portions of a subscription.
We take your privacy seriously. All financial data you enter into Grip is stored securely in our database and is used solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. All content, features, branding, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to the Bastech and Grip names, logos, software, and design — are the exclusive property of Bastech and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service.
Grip is a personal finance tracking tool and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All information displayed in the Service is based solely on data you enter. We make no warranties, express or implied, that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any errors will be corrected. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bastech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@bastech.app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
